The Ralph Brown Community Center is a non-profit volunteer-run organization seeking Urban Green Team members to work with our neighborhood families and volunteers to assist in making the summer fun and memorable for all.
Green Team Member Position
Employer: Ralph Brown Community Center
Location: 460 Andrews Street – Corner of McGregor and Machray
Duration: Until August 30, 2013 (approximate)
Salary: $10.25 per hour plus 4% vacation
Hours: Part time shifts including days, weekends, and some evenings

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator the Urban Green Team member will take part in the following activities: recreation, sports, children’s programming, field trips, program planning and some community gardening and clean-up activities.
Qualifications:
Must be between 15-29 years of age
Ability to work independently and alongside others
Ability to relate to adults, youth and children
Ability to take initiative and be self motivated
Ability to organize and implement center programming
Willing to provide a police record check and consent to a provincial Child Abuse Registry check (RBCC to cover the cost)
Must be energetic and able to lead sporting activities
Organizational skills an asset

Ralph Brown Community Center is very excited to welcome back S.P.I.N programming this April for Basketball! Everyone is welcome!
Jasmine from the North End Food Security Network has brought her wonderful Parent Skills Cooking Class to Ralph Brown Community Centre. Join her Mondays at 1pm for an informative session focussed on healthy cooking. Participants bring home a delicious meal after each class.
