I don’t know about you, but to me this week seems to have taken FOREVER. I am ready to kick up my heels and have a little fun!
With Winter winding down and temperatures warming up next week, come out and enjoy the rink for one last skate. The rink is available for use even outside of regular community centre hours so take advantage of it while you can.
On Saturday we have our bi-weekly NEON meeting. The youth of the North End will get together and discuss what they would like to see and have available to them in their neighborhood, and then they will put together plans to make it happen. If you’re interested in attending, the meeting starts at 12pm and we will share a pizza lunch around 1pm.
Also on Saturday, you can join Tiffany and Deanne in baking cookies! The kitchen fun will start immediately after the NEON meeting concludes.
On Sunday, be sure to come and check out North End Losers. We are a group of individuals who are working towards living healthier. This week we will meet on Sunday morning at 9am for our first weigh-in, to take our before pictures, set some goals for the coming week, and workout. North End Losers meets Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings weekly. All are welcome!
